I loved that So Ah found a way to save Lord Habaek. But his kiss is desperate, and So-ah senses something wrong and tries to push him away. Joo Dong is serious when he tells Lord Habaek not to fight the return to their world. Ha-baek holds her back, begging her not to do this as she fights and screams. I must have thought it was a man because of Park Hyung Sik. They hug and tell each other “I love you.”. We fade in to some time later, and SoAh is just going through her regular life, we see that a couple of the gods are keeping a lookout on her, making sure she is safe even though she doesn't remember anything. It seems that it did not improve at all. “Tell him that you are not going to look for your father.”. I was really pushing for him (although, rooting for Habaek). But it is clear profit rules over employee morale.

I know JT thinks he and Bi Ryeom are half brother’s and it’s possible but I’m not so sure. How hard is it to throw the actors in a large tank of water?? If the viewer/reader didn’t understand what was happening, that means the storyteller failed in their job of telling a proper story.

As far as Nak-Bin goes, she was a sacrifice to the gods (like how some people give money and talismans to shrines as an offering, I’m assuming that in her time, people made human sacrifices). This show has almost made me give up on Kdramas completely. She declares everything will go back to normal. I genuinely thought it was something to do with the villain, but as we realise, there’s no true villain in this story…so are the fishes’ death really just an indication of pollution? That's why the two other gods, with their full powers, were unable to. With a wreath of flowers in her hair, So Ah asks if she’s pretty. I didnt even know about that.. "The ending was a lot better than expected" "Oh, he left.

This is the second drama I watch just to see Im Joo Hwan... trying to ignore the plotless rest. is it the idea to modernized the manhwa? ? Even when there were things to complain about, I loved how you always focused in on the positives, and brought our attention back to Habaek & So-Ah. }); She doesn’t want him to vanish from her memories. Sometimes the good thing about reviews, if they are done well, is they tell us the things that person liked/disliked and then we decide for ourselves if it’s something that would bother us or not. I wish that So Ah phrased her words in such a way which makes it possible for her to leave with Habaek to the Realm later on, and we know that’s possible because of Nak Bin…unless the point of Nak Bin was to show us that it’s impossible for another human to live in the Realm of Gods because of the betrayal. He should have been able to help so-ah get her father back from the water with his help without giving her his "power" that I didnt even know he had because he never got his powers back in the whole 16 episodes. The passionate kiss where he conveyed his power and his promise was surprising. The only thing I can say I truly loved about this show was Moo Ra's wardrobe.

Meanwhile I would argue The Best Hit probably had just as many issues but the tension was kept so tight that I never got bored enough to look too closely at them. But gradually the things I liked about the drama were overpowered by the things I didn’t. Soah really had no patience for the God's realm and all that went with it, for her because she was too human and that is a good thing. As a side note, since the show didn’t go any further into Nak Bin’s backstory, I’m just going to assume that she did betray Habaek, whether accidental or intentionally.

He tells So Ah to use the crest on something else. So Ah goes off with the artist’s wife. Mura disappears after snapping that she’s too angry to watch any more of this. Njk just do it right, for me he did justice to the character, it suits him from his cold, not-so-energetic character lol god like him are laid back! Bi-ryum, Mura, and Joo-dong materialize nearby, and they instantly sense that they’re too late to stop Ha-baek. I was expecting some water powers like the one when he saved her... And that's it for the whole drama???

I know it’s a no-win argument, but for me, the important factor was Jacon was a live (alive), warm body.

So Ah has an artist ready to draw a portrait of Lord Habaek. Sometimes the storyteller gets too caught up in their messages too and the story suffers (like in Gu Family Book). if (d.getElementById(id)) return; I do want to see Soah and Habaek get together. So Ah stares at their portrait. Joo Dong says that So Ah’s father saved the half-god CEO Shin that evening before saving him. Oddly enough, from the moment I discovered Hoo he had been a Demi-god, I’d assumed that So-a’s father had been the one to help him.

Joo-dong calls Namsuri next to ask him to let him into So-ah’s place. Yeom Mi counters it’s real. Moo Ra rejects that logic. Lord Habaek takes So Ah’s hand.

And in a not-terribly-surprising-turn, Habaek realises that he completed the mission of finding out why the stones were hidden in the human world – how can a deity save the world if he can’t even save just one human? Joo-dong goes to the spot where So-ah jumped off the bridge that night thirteen years ago, the same night that her father saved Hu-ye. For one, why does Habaek’s powers only return when So Ah is in danger and pleads for help? Side note: how in the world did So-ah change into the bride outfit and do her hair so quickly? Joo-dong asks if Ha-baek is thinking about not returning, warning him that it would be a terrible decision.

Yeom-mi suggests the cause might be guilt over failing to help someone. the CEO’s story was the most interesting thing here…we were left in the dark about CEO’s parents. Bi Ryeon notes the crest if invisible to humans.

But yes me too! Njh can definitely improve further but he's someone I've got my eye on now. Is it just me or did this episode run longer than usual? Its sweet but you gave up what Nakbin only dreamed of having to be with habaek forever.
