The FBI has created a complete set of requirements for developing future case management applications. Although deployment of a new case management system for the FBI has been delayed, the overall pace of IT modernization in the FBI continues to accelerate. Recommendation 9: Monitor the Enterprise Architecture being developed to ensure timely completion as scheduled. When a program or project metric varies by more than 10 percent of the acceptable thresholds for cost, schedule and performance, it will trigger closer scrutiny and remedial action by the Investment Management/Project Review Board. Accordingly, we will devote all necessary resources to support the project, even if this requires reprogramming. Consequently, if fully and effectively implemented, the directive should ensure all property scanned during physical inventories has correct manufacturer and model number information. Comments: FBI issued an Electric Communication "2009 Wall-to-Wall Inventory of Property, Plant, Equipment, and Issued Personal Property" in April 2009 that included additional directions to the inventory staff to ensure that, property information recorded in the property management application (PMA) was accurate.
