I'm a first time yogurt maker and found the yogurt maker very easy to use. Also can you use a store brand 2L UHT full cream milk ? My final thought is that because the Luvele yogurt maker holds a steady, reliable temperature, and because it has a 24 hour setting, I think a lot of people would prefer to just start with a Luvele rather than having to fiddle with a dimmer switch. I have recently bought this machine for yoghurt making and just love it. So cheap to make too.

It always turns out great. Using long life milk, milk powder, and 'new' yoghurt which has been frozen in 50ml batches, it takes me less than 5 minutes to get a new lot started. It makes amazing yoghurt, of a very consistent quality. Prior to owning it I was using the Easiyo makers & that was tedious as I had to refill with warm water half way through (I ferment my yoghurt for 24 hours) so when I came across the Luvele I thought I'd give it a try & was very impressed with the result.

I heat the milk for around 15 minutes (I make 2 litres) then cool to body temperature (think babies bottles) then add the culture (I buy a yoghurt & probiotic culture from the local health food store) & ferment for at least 24 hours.
I also strained some to make cream cheese so yum. The company has a presence in Australia and the service is wonderful. It makes two litres of thick creamy yoghurt for the cost of full cream milk.

Firstly i would like to thank you for the advice I received prior to purchasing the Luvele yoghurt maker as well as the speed in which I received the product, I was most impressed! I failed my first batch by heating and over thickening extra cream milk, but tweaked it and got it right second try using a dash of standard yogurt cultures and forgoing the pre-heat. We love the Pure plus yogurt maker.
