I play with inverted mouse controls on the PC. Console FPS games offer a better overall experience in my mind. I'm pretty sure a 7800gt will be fine for UT3. For me I had to switch my Y axis.

Don't use Timesplitters 2 to train, argh. But I will always prefer console fps over pc, another reason is that I don't have to buy a new graphics card every 6 months when a new game comes out to be able to play it. it took me 2 weeks to switch from right to left mouse hands for FPS - it made me remember when I first did FPS controls they weren't that intuitive on a PC the first time either. Play a third-person cover shooter like Gears of War. Just gotta keep playing. Then he played the training mission on CoD4 for almost an entire night. but after about an hour when i cought on i started to enjoy the game. I play PC FPS with a non-inverted control scheme but for some reason I need to invert when aiming with an analog stick.Besides trying that, it's really all down to practice. Once I got used to using a controller, I have gotten better at it than PC FPS, although I am still good at those.
